The OPP says drivers should never “veer for deer”.
On Monday in Huron County a driver swerved to avoid a deer and ended up rolling his truck into a ditch.
He managed to escape unharmed.
In Huron County there have already been 17 collisions involving the animals this month.
Police say slowing down, paying attention, and using your high beams can all reduce your chances of hitting a deer.
