It could be a messy drive to work.
A Snow Squall Watch from Environment Canada is in effect for the Stratford area and it’s calling for flurries Wednesday afternoon with as 5 to 10 centimetres expected to come down.
More of the same is expected for tonight with flurries, snow squalls and another 5 to 10 centimetres expected overnight.
As for Thursday, flurries are expected on and off throughout the day with a total of 2 centimetres expected.
Environment Canada Senior Climatologist David Phillips says the snow isn’t a surprise.
“This is not early for it, this is about the time, the water is still wide open, it’s warmer.”
There is good news though, a mix of sun and clouds are in the forecast for Saturday with a high of minus 1.
