New Warden and Deputy Warden in Perth County

There’s a new Warden and Deputy Warden in Perth County.

At a meeting in Stratford on Thursday morning, Perth South Deputy Mayor Jim Aitcheson was elected as Warden.

Meanwhile, Perth East Mayor Rhonda Ehgoetz was elected as Vice Warden.

Aitcheson says he wants to continue the work the county has started in the past few years.

“We’ve taken on a lot of projects in the last couple of years, strategic plan, official plan review, natural heritage plan study, and we’ve got a way through most of them but we haven’t got them done yet.”
