A head’s up when it comes to wrapping paper.
As many us wrap presents this week, officials say that wrapping paper is not accepted in Stratford’s recycling program.
They say while the paper itself is a recyclable material, they can’t accept gift wrap because of cross contamination from things like tape and bows.
Don’t put the wrapping paper in your blue box for recycling, but instead they say you can do things like wrapping gifts in fabric or newspaper and reusing paper gift wrap, if possible.
