Ontario providing funding for four local police services and their RIDE programs

Funding is on the way from the province to help keep the roads safe over the holidays.

Ontario is investing over $57-thousand across four local police services, including Stratford Police, for their respective RIDE programs.

The other forces receiving funding are the North Perth OPP, West Perth OPP and Wellington County OPP.

RIDE Grant funding by Police Service in Perth-Wellington: 

Stratford Police Service                                                          $15,841

OPP Perth County (Municipality of North)                           $8,853

OPP Perth County (Municipality of West Perth)                   $8,853

OPP Wellington County                                                         $24,242

Ontario is investing around $2.4 million through its RIDE Grant to help police services across the province detect impaired drivers.
