Stratford Cinemas broken into early Friday morning

The Stratford Cinemas has been broken into.  Stratford Police say it happened around 5:30 Friday morning when the alarm went off.

A passerby noticed the damage to the front door and called police around 8:30 a.m.

Police say someone drove a vehicle through the front doors and items were stolen from inside.

They say the suspects took the ATM and cash registers and over $3-thousand in cash.

Police don’t have any suspects and are asking anyone with any information to call them at 519-271-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

In a Facebook post, the owners thanked everyone for their concern and asked for respect during this tough time, adding they hope to be up and running in a timely fashion.
