Stratford Police continue to investigate a knifepoint robbery at a local bank.
Around 5:15 Sunday afternoon, police tell MyStratfordNow.com that a person was using the ATM at the Scotiabank on C.H. Meier when they were approached by a suspect armed with a knife.
The suspect demanded cash which was given to them before fleeing the scene.
The victim wasn’t hurt.
Police say the suspect was arrested a short time later in the area.
They are asking anyone in that area who finds anything suspicious not to touch it but to call the police right away.
Investigators will be on scene throughout the day determining exactly what took place.
