Christmas trees being picked up next week in Stratford

Now that the holidays are over, many of us are looking to get our homes cleaned up.

The City of Stratford is collecting Christmas trees at curbside next week on your regular waste collection day.

Collected trees will be added to the Stratford landfill site’s brush pile, which is shredded once a year.

The shredded brush is used as cover at the landfill site in the winter, and has also been mixed into active compost piles.
