Environment Canada has updated a Special Weather Statement for Saturday in Perth County and says we’ll see heavy rain, freezing rain and strong winds from Saturday into Sunday.
The weather agency says light rain or drizzle is expected to develop early Friday morning and continue through the day before becoming heavier Friday night.
Rain, which could be heavy at times, will continue Saturday before mixing with or changing to freezing rain Saturday evening.
By the time it’s done, between 25 to 50 mm could come down.
The freezing rain or rain is expected to end Sunday morning.
