Stratford Police say officers were patrolling Line 9 in Perth South last Wednesday night when they found a brown Pontiac G6 in the ditch.
Police were familiar with the 40-year old driver who was seen outside the vehicle but he left before officers arrived.
A background check was done on him and police discovered he was prohibited from driving and was wanted by London Police.
He was found at a nearby home and brought to Stratford Police headquarters where he was charged with breaching his probation and driving while prohibited as well as the outstanding warrant in London.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in Stratford early next month.
He was later turned over to London Police and taken to that city.
