Snow squall warning issued for Perth County

Environment Canada says squalls will likely develop this afternoon and last until tomorrow (Friday) morning when they will weaken.

The weather agency says we could see up to 25 centimetres of snow coupled with wind gusts of 60 kilometres an hour.

That is going to make driving hazardous with visibility on the roads reduced to near zero at times.

Non-essential travel is discouraged.
