It’s another reminder to not leave valuables in your vehicle and to always keep the keys with you.
On Tuesday night, Perth County OPP says a white F150 truck was stolen from a home on Line 47, north of Gads Hill.
Police say the keys to the unlocked truck were left in the vehicle along with the owner’s wallet.
A bank card belonging to the owner was used in London in the early morning hours and the truck was found later that day abandoned in Tavistock.
Police say you should never leave your keys in your vehicle.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Perth County OPP or Cime Stoppers.
