House of Blessing summer food drive

‘Hunger doesn’t take a vacation’ and neither will the Stratford House of Blessing.

The local food bank will try to stuff a truck this Saturday in front of Food Basics in the city.

School breakfast and snack programs close down for the summer but people still need to feed their children.

Donations also dwindle as people are away on vacation.

The House of Blessing says 1 in 6 Canadian children struggle with hunger.

The truck will be parked in front of Food Basic from 9:00AM to 3:00PM on Saturday.

More information can be found at the event’s Facebook page.
