Exeter man arrested and charged after disturbance at local hospital

A 33-year-old Exeter man faces a raft of charges following an incident at the town’s hospital.
Huron County OPP says they were called to the hospital just before 5 o’clock on the morning of January 16th to assist with a male that was out of control in the emergency department.
They say the irate man had smashed several objects and a window as well as pulling a fire alarm.
He was also found with decorative metal star that police say he had stolen from a nearby home.
He was arrested and faces charges including Theft Under $5-thousand, Mischief Under $5-thousand and Causing a Disturbance.
Police say he remains in custody and has a court appearance scheduled for Monday.
