You’re being urged to use extreme caution near rivers, streams, and ditches, and to keep children and pets away.
The warning is from the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority who says temperatures have risen above freezing and are forecast to remain there for much of the weekend, including overnight.
The forecast also includes 15-25 mm of rain over Friday and Saturday.
The UTRCA says they don’t anticipate significant flooding; however, low lying, flood-prone areas may become inundated with the higher rainfall amounts.
