Police are crediting their canine unit with helping in the arrest of a 37-year-old Stratford man.
Just after 9 o’clock Wednesday night, Perth County OPP were called to a property on Road 128 in Perth East over a stolen pickup truck.
The truck was later found abandoned in Listowel with officers searching the area, with help from the canine unit, and arresting a suspect in a garage on Havelock Street.
Police say another vehicle that was stolen from Middlesex County was found not far from the residence.
A man from Stratford has been charged with multiple property, driving, and bail violation offences.
