The Cooper Site has gained another ally, the Stratford & District Labour Council.
It’s given its full backing to the Stratford-Perth County Branch, Architectural Conservancy Ontario’s and the Stratford Perth Heritage Foundation’s efforts.
Both organizations are trying to save the former Grand Trunk Railway Repair Shops.
Last week Heritage Canada The National Trust recognized the site as one of its Ten Most Endangered Places in Canada.
