The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is looking for a few good partners.
The HPHA says a Patient Partner is a community member that has been a patient, a patient’s family member or caregiver and has experienced care at any of the four hospital sites of the HPHA.
They say that patient, family and caregiver engagement provides them an opportunity to listen and learn from lived experiences and interactions in the health care system.
HPHA officials say a few examples of Patient Partner engagement opportunities are the Patient Partnership Council and Program Councils.
