All public and Catholic school students in Perth County are going to be out of school for another unplanned day off.
It comes as educational staff are going on on a province-wide one-day strike Friday.
The strike will close all elementary, high school and Catholic schools in the Avon Maitland District School Board and the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board.
To mark the first province-wide action of this kind since 1997, the presidents of all four major education unions will hold a joint press conference Friday morning at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
