Police: Thirsty thieves steal beer and wine from Clinton home

It appears some thirsty thieves broke into a garage in Clinton and made off with some beer and wine.

Sometime between 1 o’clock and two o’clock in the morning last Tuesday, Huron County OPP says two men went into an attached garage at a home on Beach Street.

Police says the two made off with a case of beer and two bottles of wine and they took off running when a neighbour spotted them and approached the garage.

One suspect was around six feet tall with a scruffy face and he was wearing a grey coat.

The second male was described as being around 5’10” with a skinny build and was wearing a dark red coat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
