Image supplied by Google.The Stratford Perth Humane Society is searching for good homes after seventeen cats and a dog were surrendered by their owner.The animals came into the SPHS on Monday after their own was admitted to the hospital.Staff say they need a little TLC as many of them have ear mites and fleas, and others need grooming due to matting.The animals are currently under medical care and receiving the treatment they need.SPHS estimates that overall care for the group could cost a few thousand dollars, as the animals require veterinary care.It’s hoped the animals will be ready for adoption in the coming weeks.
