St. Marys closes some facilities; cancels some programs

The following facilities will be closed indefinitely as of Saturday, March 14, 2020:

  • Pyramid Recreation Centre (including arena and pool)
  • St. Marys Friendship Centre
  • St. Marys Youth Centre
  • St. Marys Museum
  • St. Marys Public Library

The closure will affect all programs, bookings, and events at each of these facilities, including EarlyON programs. Refunds will be provided to program registrants and facility renters. The decision follows the Huron Perth Health Unit’s new recommendation to cancel gatherings and events of 250 people or more.

The St. Marys Child Care Centre will also be closed and Before and After School programs will be cancelled from Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, April 5, 2020.

The Town continues to monitor this evolving situation and is following the recommendations of Huron Perth Public Health.
