In order to “flatten the curve” of the COVID-19 transmission, the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says its postponing all non-urgent/non-essential services effective immediately.
The HPHA says they took a number of factors into consideration in making the decision.
They say there is no specific timeline associated with the postponement and they will take direction from the province.
Urgent and emergent surgical procedures, chemotherapy, dialysis and obstetrical care, including booked caesarean sections, won’t be impacted.
