Fire Prevention Officer James Marshall tells MyStratfordNow.com the house is a total loss.
He adds everyone in the home made it out safely and one male was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

One person is recovering from minor injuries after a house fire near Mitchell.
West Perth firefighters were called out to the blaze on Road 164 at Frank Street, just south of Mitchell, Sunday night.
Fire Chief William Hunter says mutual aid was called in from Sebringville and Monkton.
A cause and a damage estimate for the blaze have yet to be released.
