Over One-Hundred People Tested For COVID-19 in Huron Perth

Over one-hundred people have been tested for COVID-19 in Huron-Perth so far.
The news came in an update from Dr.Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health, Tuesday afternoon who added that of 101 people tested, 73 were negative, 26 are pending and two were confirmed to have the virus.
The two people who are confirmed cases share a home in St.Marys with a male in his sixties remaining in critical condition.
Dr, Klassen adds Waterloo Region Public Health has made the HPPH aware of a confirmed case of COVID-19 who attended an event at the Seaforth Ag Hall on the evening of March 14th.
As part of contact tracing, WPH staff are directly contacting known close cases of the case, include those who were at the event.
Anyone who attended the event is asked to self-monitor for symptoms.
