Stratford City Council moving meetings online over COVID-19

The wheels are in motion for Stratford City Council to move its meetings online.
A special virtual meeting is planned for 2 o’clock Monday afternoon where council will discuss proposed amendments to the city’s bylaw that covers council meeting online.
Online council meetings are a new option that has been made available to municipal councils with the recently adopted Municipal Emergency Act in Ontario.
Other meetings to be held online next week include the Committee of the Whole In-camera session that follows the special meeting.
The city will post recordings of meetings online.
