Stratford Police investigating several cases of hate motivated graffiti

Stratford Police says they are investigating several cases of hate motivated graffiti.
Just after 8 o’clock Saturday morning, SPS says an officer was doing a property check at the Rotary Complex on McCarthy Road West when they came across racial slurs and derogatory comments that were written on several parts of the Burnside Agriplex building.
The comments were written in sidewalk chalk and were removed.
Later that same afternoon, the Stratford Police was notified of similar graffiti being found on both St Michael Catholic School and Stratford Secondary and Elementary School buildings.
Police say they believe the messages were written overnight Friday or early Saturday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call Stratford Police.
