A Perth County OPP officer is being credited with delivering a baby at roadside.
Just after 4 o’clock Saturday morning, Police say the officer was patrolling Perth Road 119 in Perth East when she pulled a vehicle over for speeding.
The officer discovered a female passenger was in labour and she began escorting the couple to the hospital when their vehicle pulled over again.
With the assistance of the officer, the baby was delivered at roadside.
Perth County EMS arrived shortly after, and both mother and baby are doing well.
