Police say a Clinton woman has been charged after assaulting officers.
Huron County OPP were called out to a home on King Street late Saturday night to investigate a fight that had broken out.
When they got to the scene, police say the officers spoke with two people and the situation seemed resolved but officers had to go back to the area later on where they encountered one of the people out on the sidewalk that they had been dealing with earlier.
Police say the woman was intoxicated and she resisted arrest, kicking the two officers.
She faces charges including two counts of assaulting a peace officer.
