There are now five confirmed cases of COVID-19 at a Stratford nursing home.
Perth Huron Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen said in an update Monday afternoon that four residents and one staff member at Greenwood Court have tested positive for the virus.
She says each of the five people is self-isolating and none are in the hospital with the home taking the necessary precautions.
Dr. Klassen adds there is still one resident at Hillside Manor who tested positive for the virus as well.
As of Monday morning, 399 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Huron Perth with 18 confirmed, 326 negative and 55 still pending.
