Stratford Police are keeping a close watch out to make sure people are following regulations over COVID-19.
Officers are patrolling the city making sure people are keeping safety front of mind and not doing things like hanging out in groups of over 5 people.
Stratford Police Constable Darren Fischer says the force wants to make sure everyone is safe.
“Rather tan taking a punitive approach, we’re looking at taking an educational approach and speaking with everybody, making sure they know what their responsibilities are and where they can and cannot be.”
Fischer adds, if it’s necessary, fines and charges can be laid against those not following the regulations.
