Roller skating back in Stratford

Roller Skating was dead in Stratford for multiple decades but now, it’s back!

People are gathering every Friday night at the Rotary Complex to enjoy the activity again.

Rebecca Zinger is chair of the Stratford Roller Sports Alliance.

She says some local residents can feel pretty nostalgic while others are trying roller skating for the first time.

Zinger says a grant from City Council got the ball rolling.

Roller Skating won’t happen this Friday due to the long weekend.

It’s back on August 8th.
