Police warn about fundraising scams in London

As fundraising efforts continue for Addison Hall’s family, police are reminding you to be vigilant about scams.

Fraudsters love to pounce in the midst of a tragedy.

There are legitimate fundraising efforts happening at the two Costco stores in London and online but police urge you to do your homework.

If someone calls you or knocks on your door asking for money, make sure you double check what they say before you fork it over.

In the meantime, Addison’s three year old sister is now in fair condition in hospital.

A candlelight vigil was held last night in memory of the six year old girl who died over the weekend after a car backed through the front door of Costco in London.
