Food Day on Saturday at LCFC

The Local Community Food Centre is gearing up for a free BBQ on Saturday.

All of Perth County is invited to gather at 612 Erie Street on August 2nd for Food Day.

Jordan Lassaline is the Chef Educator at the food centre.

He says Canadians from coast to coast will take part in the event.

Lassaline says the free BBQ isn’t the only event they have planned for Saturday.

He emphasizes that the day they have planned is completely free for all.

Lassaline says Food Day started in the midst of a crisis in agriculture.

Food Day Canada will run from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
