Perth-Wellington MP says there are gaps in support programs created to help deal with COVID-19

The MP for Perth-Wellington says there are gaps in the support programs that Ottawa has created to deal with COVID-19.

In a press release issued Monday, John Nater says the federal government has created several programs in an effort to provide financial assistance for those who need it during this challenging time.

He says he and his staff are working diligently to assist constituents in accessing them, however, there remain gaps in the support programs announced and many individuals and businesses have found these programs to be inadequate.

He adds that over the coming days, he will be working to try to make sure the individuals and businesses not eligible for these programs do not fall through the cracks.
