A 24-year-old Mitchell man faces a raft of charges after police say fled from police.
During a police investigation, the suspect’s vehicle was found to have stolen licence plates attached to it.
When police attempted to stop the vehicle in North Perth shortly after 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, they say the man drove away in a dangerous manner.
Police were able to identify the driver before he fled the scene.
The following day, the same vehicle was found to be driving again, and the same driver was identified before fleeing the scene and almost causing a head-on collision.
Police were able to locate the vehicle moments later at a home on Richmond Avenue North in Listowel, where he was arrested without incident.
He faces charges including two counts of dangerous operation and flight from police.
