Stratford Police investigating stabbing in the city

Stratford Police are investigating a stabbing believed to have happened at a hotel in the city.
Just after 4 o’clock Wednesday morning, SPS says they were contacted by Perth County Paramedics who were bringing a male who had been stabbed to the hospital.
Police came and met with the victim who they say was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
They say the stabbing appeared to have happened on Tuesday at a hotel in the east end of Stratford.
The man who was stabbed went back to his home in the west end where he stayed until paramedics were called.
Police say the victim is a 52-year-old man and anyone with information on what happened is asked to call SPS or Crime Stoppers.
