Stratford Police officer charged with Careless Driving

A Stratford Police officer has been charged following a collision in early January.
SPS says the officer struck three parked vehicles with a marked Stratford Police cruiser on George Street West at Downie Street on January Third.
The officer has been charged with Careless Driving.
At the time, Stratford Police tweeted the officer was transported to the hospital and was later released.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
The case is scheduled to be heard in court on July 14th.
SPS tells MyStratfordNow.com the officer remains on active duty.
