St.Marys reverses decision to delay curbside leaf and yard waste collection

It’s good news for St.Marys residents who have been busy de-cluttering and doing yard work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the Province of Ontario’s lead in reducing COVID-19 restrictions, St.Marys has reversed its decision to delay the curbside leaf and yard waste collection program.

The program will now begin on its original date of next Monday for properties in the southeast and southwest areas of the town with collection starting on the following Monday, May 25th, for properties in the north and west areas of town.

It will continue on the Monday of residents’ recycling week until November 23rd.

Meanwhile, St.Marys landfill site will be open to residents for regular, non-hazardous waste disposal on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 o’clock in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon.
