Huron County residents satisfied with policing efforts

It seems Huron County residents are quite happy with the work of their police force.

The results are in from the 2014 Community Satisfaction Survey (CSS).

Between January and April, 384 Huron County residents were asked about issues such as community security, perceptions of crime and youth issues in the community, OPP presence in the community, service delivery and how the OPP investigates crime.

A few highlights show that 99 percent of respondents feel safe in their community, 96 percent are satisfied with the OPP’s visibility while 95 percent were satisfied with the overall quality of police service provided.
