Perth County OPP says a 30-year-old Listowel resident has been charged with sexual assault.
Police say they were called to an address on Barber Avenue North in Listowel around 8 o’clock in the morning on May 14th.
They say a 16-year-old victim reported that a sexual assault had happened.
Police conducted an investigation, and the 30 -year-old has been charged with uttering threats and sexual assault.
The name of the suspect was not provided.
They have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Stratford at a later date.
