Police cracking down on speed demons

Police have been cracking down on speeders.

The Perth County OPP says since August 1stĀ five people have been charged with racing.

They include a Stratford man who was caught driving 51 km/h over the limit on Highway 7 near St. Marys.

All five lost their licences and their vehicles for a week and are scheduled to appear in court in Stratford.

In the meantime the Perth County OPP will continue to target impaired, aggressive and suspended drivers.
