Lowest number of COVID-19 cases reported for a second day since late March

It’s the lowest number of COVID-19 cases since March.

Ontario has added 230 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.  The province’s total is 31,090.

The recovery rate has also gone up and is now at 79.9-percent.

There have been another 14 people pass away from the virus bringing that total to 2,464.

Over the last 24 hours, the province has completed 13,509 tests.

Yesterday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that 24 of the provinces 34 public health units will enter Stage 2 of the reopening process on Friday.
