Perth County OPP says one person was injured at a road construction site in Shakespeare after a collision involving a cement mixer and an employee.
Shortly after 8:30 Tuesday morning, first responders and the Ministry of Labour were called to site where crews were working on the roadway.
Police say their investigation revealed that the arm of a cement mixer struck a worker as it was moving along.
The employee was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the truck driver wasn’t injured.
No charges were laid as a result of the investigation.
