New app designed to boost tourism and heritage in St.Marys

A new app is designed to boost tourism and build the profile of heritage landmarks in St.Marys.

The Town’s Heritage Advisory Committee has partnered with a Toronto-based tech start-up on the app, called Driftscape which allows users to explore a number of the Stonetown’s local attractions in an engaging and interactive way.  

The app highlights several heritage landmarks and attractions and features a number of guided tours.

Beyond the guided tours, there are 15 heritage landmarks on the app that people can explore and learn about. The app is GPS based, so information about various heritage landmarks will appear depending on where you are in St. Marys.
