Bed closures are coming to the Huron Perth Health Care Alliance.
The HPHA announced last month they will close 17 beds.
Administrators claim this has nothing to do with funding issues but others are saying that’s exactly what’s behind it.
They say these closures will lead to reduced services and fewer hospital workers.
CUPE along with the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions are holding a community information meeting this Thursday in Stratford.
It will be held in the Griffith Auditorium at Spruce Lodge starting at 7:00pm.
All are welcome to attend.
