Children in Stratford will soon be back in the playground.
The Ontario government announced earlier this week that outdoor playgrounds and play structure can reopen in Stage 3 of its framework for reopening the province.
Officials with the City of Stratford say staff are currently preparing to reopen the city’s playgrounds and play structures on Friday.
They say caution tape is being removed, and signage is being installed to remind users to maintain safe social distancing and good hygiene when using any recreational facilities and amenities, and to stay home if feeling unwell.
They add that as playgrounds and play structures will not be cleaned on a regular basis, use them at your own risk.
