Another driver has been charged with speeding in Perth County.
After witnessing them speeding, Perth County OPP says an officer stopped a vehicle on Perth Line 34 in Perth East just after 1 o’clock Thursday morning.
Police say the vehicle was traveling in excess of 130km/h in an 80km/h limit zone.
During the investigation, the officer reported the driver was unable to produce their insurance card, and the vehicle only had one headlight.
A 39-year-old from Stratford has been charged with excessive speed, Fail to Surrender Insurance Card, and driving without Proper Headlights.
The driver was also given a seven-day driving suspension and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
