One of the candidates for the leadership of the Green Party of Canada is coming to Stratford.
Dimitri Lascaris is hosting a meet and greet event on Tom Patterson Island starting at five o’clock Friday afternoon.
Lascaris is a former lawyer, journalist and activist and the meeting comes as part of a tour of the local area.
He ran for the Green Party of Canada in the riding of London West in the 2015 federal election.
All events are being held outdoors in public spaces, and COVID-19 precautions will be in effect.
The election for the federal Green Party is scheduled for October.
