Millbank restaurant set to reopen after being closed due to COVID-19

A familiar Perth East restaurant is set to reopen after it was closed as a precaution from COVID-19.

Huron Perth Public Health closed Anna Mae’s Bakery and Restaurant in Millbank after a positive case of the virus associated with the restaurant was discovered earlier this month.

At the time, HPPH said the risk to the public was low and contact tracing was done to make sure the case was isolated.

Anna Mae’s is now set to reopen Tuesday and in a statement on Instagram management say they have “worked very closely with public health, and have gone above and beyond safety measures to reopen.”

They say they have also put new improvement measures in place including updating their existing COVID-19 policy, implementing an enhanced daily staff screening tool and new-and-improved signage.
